In the application process, it often encounters the problem of connecting the main pipe according to actual needs. Traditional pipes must first cut off a section of the main pipe and then install a tee to complete the connection. The saddle tee can be connected using a saddle docking method, that is, a saddle docking welding machine is used to directly connect a saddle tee to the main pipe, and then the equipped cutting knife is used to cut the main pipe. This completes the tapping of the main pipe, and the construction is very fast.
When connecting PE pipes, steel pipes, and valves with steel pipe flanges, it is advisable to use steel plastic flange connections: the PE pipes can be connected to the corresponding plastic support rings using hot melt butt welding. The connection between the steel pipe end and the metal flange should comply with the corresponding steel pipe welding regulations. Then, the flange plate can be used to complete its connection with the steel pipe.
Flange connections are also applicable for their mutual connections. Generally speaking, there is no need for a sealing ring between them, but it is still necessary to add a sealing ring under large-sized and high-pressure working conditions. When the PE pipe support ring is flanged with pipes of other materials, a sealing ring must be used.
