Drainage pipe is a new type of permeable plastic pipe with a corrugated appearance formed by adding other additives to high-density polyethylene (HDPE). The permeable corrugated pipe is processed by punching holes in the groove and wrapping it with needle punched geotextile around the outside of the pipe.
According to the type of corrugated pipe, it can be divided into single wall permeable corrugated pipe and double wall permeable corrugated pipe. Due to the fact that the pipe holes of this product are located in the valley and have a long strip shape, it effectively overcomes the disadvantage of flat circular hole products being easily blocked and affecting the drainage effect. For different drainage requirements, the size of the pipe holes can be 10mm × 1mm-30mm × 3mm, and can be evenly distributed in the range of 360 degrees, 270 degrees, 180 degrees, 90 degrees, etc. It is widely used in drainage fields such as highways, railway subgrades, subway engineering, waste landfills, tunnels, green belts, sports fields, and slope protection caused by high water content, as well as underground irrigation and drainage systems in agriculture and horticulture. It has become one of the three main products in China's civil engineering construction (seepage and drainage) along with soft permeable pipes and plastic blind ditches. The municipal drainage network can use double arm corrugated pipes and straight wall pipes depending on the drainage pressure. Straight wall pipes have strong pressure bearing capacity and can be used as specialized pipelines for large-scale drainage and sewage networks.
