PE pipe is a commonly used pipe material,and pressure testing is required during its use.There are many main things to do during pressure testing,and attention should be paid to not applying too much force during loading and unloading to avoid damaging the threaded fittings and causing leakage at the connection.During the tightness test,all water devices such as faucets should be installed to check the reliability of the entire system.
The water pressure test of PE pipes should comply with the following regulations:
1.Sometimes,due to different connection methods for different pipes,the water pressure test should be conducted according to the specified time after the connection is completed.
2.The pipeline needs to be fixed in advance,and the joints should be exposed outside.
3.After filling the PE pipe with water,the air inside the pipe should be discharged first.
4.The boosting time should not be less than 10 minutes,and manual pumps should be used for boosting.
5.After stabilizing for 1 hour,reach the specified test pressure,and the test pressure drop shall not exceed 0.06MPa.
6.Stabilize for 2 hours at 1.15 times the working pressure.The pressure drop shall not exceed 0.03MPa,and all connections shall be checked for any leakage.
7.The pressure test work should be carried out before the surface layer is scratched or sealed,and the pipeline should be directly buried in the floor surface layer and wall.Construction can only proceed after meeting the pressure testing requirements.
