Introduce the "Requirements" of PE Pipe Welding Specification
The application field of PE pipes is very, very extensive. It is not an exaggeration by the editor. It is indeed necessary to use PE pipes in our daily life and industrial production. Moreover, PE pipes are divided into many types, which makes them more targeted in terms of applicability. What are the standard requirements for the welding work and welding of PE pipes?
1、 The preparation work for welding construction is as follows:
1. Install the slip that matches the specifications of the pipe into the rack;
2. Prepare sufficient support to ensure that the PE pipe to be welded can be at the same height as the centerline of the frame and can be easily moved;
3. Set the heating plate temperature to 200-230 ℃;
4. Connect the welding machine power supply, turn on the heating plate, milling cutter, and oil pump switches, and test run.
If necessary, it should be adjusted appropriately according to changes in weather, environmental temperature, etc.:
1. Check whether the specifications and pressure rating of the pipe to be welded are correct, and inspect its surface for scratches, dents, and dents. If the depth of the scar exceeds 10% of the pipe wall thickness, it should be partially cut off before use;
2. Use soft paper or cloth dipped in alcohol to remove oil stains or foreign objects from both ends of the PE pipe;
3. Place the pipe to be welded inside the frame clamp, so that the length of the extension at both ends is equivalent (as short as possible without affecting milling and heating, preferably maintained at 20-30mm). Use supports to support the parts outside the pipe frame, so that the pipe axis is at the same height as the center line of the frame, and then tighten them with clamps;
4. Insert the milling cutter, first turn on the power switch of the milling cutter, then close the two ends of the pipe and apply appropriate pressure until continuous chips appear at both ends (chip thickness is 0.5-10mm, which can be adjusted by adjusting the height of the milling cutter), remove the pressure, wait for the chip to be engraved, then retract the movable frame and turn off the milling cutter power;
5. Take out the milling cutter, close the two ends of the pipe, and check the alignment of both ends (the displacement of the pipe at both ends should not exceed 10% of the wall thickness, which can be improved by adjusting the straightness and tightness of the pipe; the gap between the two ends of the PE pipe should also not exceed 0.3mm (below 225mm), 0.5mm (between 225mm and 400mm), and 1mm (above 400mm). If it does not meet the requirements, it should be milled here until it meets the requirements;
6. After the temperature of the heating plate reaches the set value, place it in the rack and apply the specified pressure until the minimum curled edge on both sides reaches the specified height. The pressure decreases to the specified value (the two sides of the pipe end are in contact with the heating plate to absorb heat). After the time is reached, release the movable frame, quickly remove the heating plate, and then close the two pipe ends.
The switching time of PE pipes should be shortened as much as possible. After cooling to the specified time, the pressure should be released, the clamp should be loosened, and the connected pipe should be taken out. I believe that after reading, everyone has gained a further understanding of this product.
