Installation requirements for PE pipes "Share
You can understand the installation requirements of PE pipes, which will be beneficial for later construction.
1. Before construction, conduct a visual inspection of the pipes, fittings, etc., and any problems found cannot be used;
2. Due to the lightweight of its high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe body, it can be manually moved during installation and generally does not require the use of machinery. Therefore, when placing it into a trench, it must not collide violently with the trench wall and bottom;
3. When installing valves and fittings with flange interfaces, measures should be taken to prevent external tensile stress. For valves with a diameter greater than 100mm, brick supports should be installed;
4. When high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes cross obstacles such as railways and highways, sleeves should be installed to protect the pipes;
5. When the pipeline installation and laying project is interrupted, wooden plugs or other covers should be used to seal the pipe mouth to prevent debris from entering the pipeline;
6. When welding pipe fittings, the heating head that matches the size of the welded pipe should be assembled onto the welding machine, connected to the power supply, and wait for the heating head to reach the optimal temperature of 260 ℃. At the same time, the pipe and fittings should be inserted into the welding device and heated according to the specified time. After heating, the pipe and fittings should be removed and immediately connected. If the positions of the pipe and fittings are not correct, a small adjustment can be made within a certain period of time, but the twisting angle should not exceed 5 degrees.
Everyone must strictly follow the requirements for PE pipe installation before proceeding. Non professionals should not participate in construction at will to avoid leakage accidents in the later stage due to unprofessional installation errors.
